In May of 2017, I was hit by a huge medical transport van going full speed on the freeway which resulted in severe neck and back pain with restricted mobility. Dr Virella claims he could fix me. He did absolutely nothing! When I came out of the surgery, he did shave my bone. That was it. There was no pain medicine for over a week because the pain doctor was having problems with his girlfriend! Dr Virella would not fix my back or even do any surgery on me until I gave him $25,000 cash, this was my first surgery on my back and I have never had surgery on my back so I didn’t know that that was wrong. I had insurance, so then that was in the summertime by the winter time in the fall. My back was hurting really bad so he prescribed epidurals! He charged me $2000 for each one plus my insurance and he gave me three of these! So now I’m out $31,000 and my insurance money for this crook do not go to this man do not go to this man for anything ! I finally

I received wonderful care from Dr Virella and his staff. I had a spinal fusion done. Dr Virella went to bat for me with the insurance company who was pushing back on this much needed procedure. If it wasn't for him I would still be in so much discomfort and pain today! Thank you for your professionalism and kindness!
