Antelope Valley Medical Center Emergency Room

Wish I could give negative stars. The wait time is literally more than 8 hours for anything. Wanna sit cause you’re feeling dizzy? Guess what you can’t because they accept way more patients than they can handle at a time don’t have an overflow area so people are literally sitting on the floor standing against walls blocking doorways and walking areas. Lady passed out in the er and not one nurse jumped to help her🤷🏻‍♀️ you wanna risk your life? Come to antelope valley er you want the actual care you deserve? You’re just gonna have to drive to sylmar

This was the worst ER experience I have ever had. I brought my 4-year-old in for severe wheezing and throat complaints, yet patients who arrived after us were being seen first. The registered nurse, Dannie, who took my child’s vitals, told me his symptoms were “not at severity,” despite his obvious distress. Throughout this, she remained at the check-in desk on her phone and showed no sympathy or compassion for what my child and I were experiencing. His symptoms had been ongoing for hours, and the lack of urgency and empathy was unacceptable.

I can't even begin to tell you how horrendous this hospital ER is. I came in for what my Doctors office said i had life threatening low blood pressure. While I was getting my stats done after admission, the guy doing the tempature and blood pressure, needless to say(my blood pressure had risen) the guy asked me if I was a hypercondreac! I said What? Not believing what I heard, and he started to explain like i was stupid. My husband thought he was joking, I didn't think it was funny. I left, seeing my BP went back up. I would not endure one more minute in this filthy trashy(literally) hell hole! I will go to Palmdale regional if it goes back down.

this place needs to me shut down for lack of urgency. I came in with a high fever and on the verge of fainting, and despite me telling the nurses how bad my condition was, there was no help nor did the care enough. I was sweating nonstop and could not breathe but even then it wasn't considered critical. This place is the absolute worse.

Ive asked my nurse Josh for about almost 5 hrs now for something to eat. The patients who HE is taking care of got food. I seen the food be given to them. So why am I ignored. Ive had to ask differ nurses and they all mentioned this to him and still nothing. Its 1256 am, Ive been here since 4 at least. Terminate his for patient neglect and over all not doing his job. Worse experience ive had in my life. Im in pain hungry and dehydrated. Fire this employee immediately for everyone's sake. Other nurses shouldn't do his job. Hes unprofessional and lethargic.
