I want to share how grateful I am for the care I received from Dr. McSwain. From the very beginning, she created a sense of calm and trust that carried me through my entire breast cancer journey. When you are in her presence, you just know she genuinely cares about you as a person, not just a patient. One moment that stands out the most was when I woke up in the hospital after surgery and she came to see me. Her resident mentioned that I had the biggest smile and looked completely elated, almost like a family member had come to visit. That is exactly how it felt. After being diagnosed with a breast papilloma through a biopsy, a friend recommended that I visit the MedStar Breast Center. After speaking with Diana, she highly recommended Dr. McSwain. I didn’t know anything about her at the time, but I decided to follow my heart—and I’m so grateful I did. During my initial visit, Dr. McSwain explained everything clearly and calmly, which was exactly what I needed. I had my surgery two weeks later, and now, five weeks post-surgery, I’m feeling great. I can’t express how thankful I am for her care. To the entire team—Dr. McSwain, Diana, Miss Tina, Dr. Mehta and her tech, and the kind ladies who handed me tissues when I cried—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m truly grateful to God and to all of you for your compassion and support.

I have had a great experience so far. I wish no one has to go see a doctor but if they do, I hope they are as well taken care off as I have been. Everyone has been wonderful.This time just as I was coming in, the receptionist was going somewhere but she stopped told me she was going to be right back. As I was waiting another member of the staff saw me standing and immediately asked me if was helped. She was just passing by and stopped to acknowledge me. The lady that checked me in for Dr. McSwain greeted me with the biggest smile. The nurse was so attentive and listened to everything I had to say. And finally Dr. McSwain was phenomenal. I felt she took her time and explained everything that was going on. I have to name one other person and that is Kimberly who had to reschedule my appointm

It is with great pleasure I write this review for Dr. McSwain. On October 28th I went through one of the most challenging surgeries I have ever faced in my life. Dr. McSwain is professional, caring and provided me with a sense of comfort that helped me through my process. You can tell she has a passion to help women dealing with any form of breast cancer.

Great physician. Her professionalism and thoroughness was great. I needed a follow-up to a questionable mammogram. She is bright and capable and caring. I highly recommend her.
