Dr. Owens and the entire staff at Animas Dental are exceptional. In 60+ years of cleanings, Debbie is the best Dental Hygienist I have ever visited. A good listener, she is friendly, compassionate, and extremely thorough with efficient cleaning techniques. In addition, she takes the extra time to help me with my home care regimen which has made a positive difference in the health of my teeth and gums. I highly recommend Animas Dental Associates.

I was treated very poorly by the staff. The story starts with the temp crown falling out twice before the permanent crown was put in. It was difficult and unpleasant for them to accommodate me for putting the temp back in. Then, an issue with the insurance co and their contracted amount. They made me pay for the service upfront then get refunded post claim. I choose care credit to pay. Upon agreeing to a full refund, they shorted me $207 due to some fee. I called care credit and there’s no such fee. Apparently now that I’ve made a stink they are paying in full not without making me feel beat up. Then I was accused of being rude to the staff. Not nice to have experienced such distain. I will never set foot in that office again. Besides, I’m not welcome there again Miss Carla told me . I’

The dentist is great. The receptionist is rated under one star. She never checked with my insurance provider after two phones from me. She didn't act like she cared and said she was too busy.

The staff at Animas Dental is understanding, considerate and kind. They take time to listen and understand their patients. They are patient and take the time to explain and educate their patients. Dr Owens is equally kind, patient, understanding and takes time to listen. They are the absolute best with children. They meet kids where they are and provide education at their level of understanding. They are personable and I highly recommend this dental group. The way the injections are animated before procedures are the least uncomfortable I have experienced in dental care. These oral injections are nearly pain free.

Called to schedule an appointment and they confirmed my insurance. After the appointment sent me a large bill saying I wasn't covered by insurance. They were unwilling to help out with the amount of the bill ($1000) that I was not anticipating having to pay. Really got screwed over.
