Animal Hospital of New Bern

I have a very busy schedule so taking the time to do a review is a big deal. I have been with the Animal Hospital Of New Bern for 10 years and they always amaze me. I currently have six animals three cats three dogs and I wouldn’t seek care for my babies elsewhere. From spay to an annual wellness or emergencies, they are my go to and will always be. Samantha, Alexis, Dr Willis, and Dr. Kelly are phenomenal, polite and exceed my expectations.

The best office in the area! Not only do they get my pets in the same day when unexpectedly sick, but the entire staff is amazing! Dr. Kelly and Dr.Wheelis are wonderful. The entire staff is patient with my scared of her shadow dog and take the time to make her comfortable relaxed. The office staff is friendly and personable and the entire experience is great every time we go in. Thank you to the entire staff!

Alexis and Samantha were more than amazing. I found a dog near my work, downtown New Bern, they stayed open to help me scan her chip, and find the owner, to get her home safely. The customer service, (Even though I’m not their customer.) patience, and kindness was above and beyond. I will go to them if I have any of my own pet issues. They shined and I recommend them through and through. Thank you ladies you were so good to help a stranger! I appreciate you staying and helping myself, Ava the dog, and the owner!

Very pleased with the car the staff provides to the customers. I lost my dog who was my best friend because I took them to Havelock Animal Hospital and they were the reason I had to put her down because they only cared about money. I took my girl to new bern animal hospital because I had to put her down.. it was the first time I ever went there and new bern staff was absolutely amazing in the way they took care of my baby girl during her final moments. I’m so thankful for the love we felt from this vet and I’d recommend everyone to come here because everyone at new Bern vet actually cares about each pet they see! So thank you and god bless! Her name was hayzel and I lost her In April of 2021. I wish I took her there from the start and it’s something I beat myself up over daily!

Have been taking our dog here since we rescued him in 2015. Very competent and knowledgeable veterinarians, staff is great with Tank, he is 100 pounds of love on the paw, and they handle him with ease. Have had to have a couple teeth pulled, a large canine, and Dr. Wheelis did a great job, one was the large front canine, the surgical flap was beautiful. Good advice regarding food, treats, etc. Professional and caring staff.
