So excited today. My Nelly is finally heartworm negative!!! AHNC has gone above & beyond for my girls. I'm so thankful for the great care the dogs have gotten. Only happy tears today. But don't judge Nelly & Cleo by this picture. I had just put drops in their ears and they weren't happy with me...lol.

By far my favorite vet I have ever been to. Took EXCELLENT care of my Glitch. Every one of the staff are polite and friendly. Made fast friends with a cat who tolerated few people. I'm lucky enough to be one of them and now, so are the staff at Animal hospital newton conover.

The staff was very friendly that I met the day of the appointment. They told me Lady had Lyme disease and Hookworms. Gave her meds to start. Gave her a rabies vaccination. However 5 days later our pet died. She was a stray I had rescued and there is no way of knowing how much damage had been done to the kidneys. (That really should have been explained to be so that I would be prepared) She felt ok the day I took her, then day two lethargic. I called the vet immediately she said not to worry that's to be expected. Day three felt ok again, day four lethargic again I called the vet to ask what to do, nobody re

Final response to owner: The Amount of energy needed to refute absurdity is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it- When my dog Chloe was very sick, could not stand and was urinating on herself, I called this Vets office which at the time was where I was taking all my dogs to. At the time I called them she was still able to stand on her own but Deteriorated very quickly from the time I called and when she was supposed to go in for the appointment. I called them 3 different times to say this was an emergency and could we please bring her in early? My husband called 3 times and told them the same thing and each time we were both told "You can bring her early but you will probably just have to sit out in your car an wait for your appointment time anyway". I was in absolute shock,
