Animal Care of Oradell

I cannot say enough about the incredible care & compassion received from Animal Care of Oradell. I went to this clinic for a second opinion on something relatively minor- a lipoma. During my visits the vets thoughtfully reviewed my dogs records & noticed bloodwork was overdue. This simple observation changed everything as the labs ended up revealing abnormal results that led to a cancer diagnosis. The team acted urgently in coordinating next steps & additional testing, & immediately worked to secure the right specialist at another clinic best suited to perform life saving surgery. Because of their thoughtful & swift action, medical expertise, and professional network, I have extra time and memories with my dog I will cherish forever. I am truly grateful. 🙏🏻

We LOVE Animal Care of Oradell. We live in Manhattan and drive 20mins to NJ, HAPPILY! Both our kitties, Tucker & Babette, had their check up with Dr May and Kristen. They had a great time. This was our first time with Kristen. She was fantastic. So thorough, thoughtful and gentle. My kitties were prrring and lounging like they were home. At the end Tucker stood on his hind legs and hugged Kristen and then Dr May and wouldn’t let her go. Kissing, prrring and nuzzling one another like best friends. We are so fortunate to have Animal Care of Oradell in our lives.

Hi, I’m Taffy! 🐾 I love visiting Dr. May and Dr. Hurst at Animal Care of Oradell. Even when I’m a little scared, they always make me feel calm, safe, and at home. The staff is so kind too—lots of smiles, gentle pats, and sometimes even snacks or toys when I’m a good girl (my favorite part!). My parents say they’ve had other veterinarians for their previous dog, but none of them hold a candle to ACO. The warmth, professionalism, and care here are unmatched. Four paws up from me 🐾🐾🐾🐾 and two thumbs up from my parents!

How do you write a review adequate enough for a vet practice that is solely responsible for saving your 6-yr-old dog’s life? Whose expertise, compassion, professionalism and genuine care far exceed any “typical” vet experience? It’s almost impossible. ACO IS that vet practice. Dr. May and Dr. Hurst saved Ursula’s life. Her case was complex, sudden and very dire. I truly believe if she was at any other vet practice, she would be dead and/or I would be in debt far beyond what a reasonable person could manage. This is my second dog with them. The entire practice is outstanding. Dr. Tierney is equally as good - he routinely gets on the floor to examine her and recently saved her eye after a scratched cornea was not healing properly. I've been bringing my kids "Dogs" here for over a year now. I must say this place is by far the best experience I can say I've had with a veterinarian's office. Starting from when you first walk in, the front desk staff greet you warmly and professionally. The young ladies at reception, Sherry and Jenny are amazing. I have a big dog and can be a bit anxious on visits. When we come in, they're always on point and are ready putting us at ease and assuring us we're in good hands. The Doctors and Techs are also excellent. My husky can be very wary at his Vet visits and the environment in the office is truly a breath of fresh air. Very clean, organized, straight forward, and friendly. I recommend this Veterinarian office to anyone and everyone with dogs, cats, or any animal or pet they can call
