I was a patient at Dr. Sherman’s practice for many years, beginning in middle school, continuing through high school, and returning for regular checkups well into my college years. I initially sought Vision Therapy to improve my performance in the classroom and learning environment. As I became more involved in sports, my training evolved to focus on enhancing eye–hand coordination. I was a lacrosse goalie for 15 years, earning All Division/County honors in high school and becoming a Division III National Champion in 2013. I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that this training was pivotal to my success in the net. Best medical decision I ever made to come here. The vision therapy I received since starting the end of spring has restored my eyesight and I couldn't be happier. At 45, I started having double vision. I've always worn contacts for being nearsighted with an astigmatism, and started needed reading glasses at 40. I kept telling my optometrist that things were just off for 2 years, especially at the movie theaters, or watching TV, driving, or a play.... and appeared to get worse, and had issues seeing 3D movies and pictures.
