Anderson Yoga Center

As a plus-size woman, walking into a new fitness space can feel intimidating, but Anderson Yoga Center has been nothing but welcoming. As the new year began, I wanted to take my health seriously and signed up for a reformer Pilates class, and I have absolutely fallen in love. I now come twice a week and truly look forward to it. Megan, the instructor, is incredible. She will push you in the best way while always offering modifications and gentle reminders that this time is for you and your body. She encourages you to do what feels comfortable and sustainable, which makes such a difference. She even calls you by name, which instantly makes the space feel personal and safe. I have never felt more at home in a brand-new environment. Megan is friendly, understanding, and genuinely supportive

I am so thankful for this studio and all the wonderful teachers! Megan Schlobohm has built an incredible team that have taken me from a puddling mess on the floor to a confident participant! I still have so much to learn and strengthen but sticking with Yoga has been the best thing I have ever done for myself! The new reformer pilates classes are icing on top!! Looking forward more learning and more strength through this new challenge!!

Ive never done yoga before and tried my first $8 warm sculpt + flow class. It was awesome! Jessica was such a positive instructor and so encouraging. It definitely gets your heart rate up and sweat going, and of course that’s the sculpt part of the class. The flow part was so relaxing and centering. Definitely can’t wait for my next class!

I've been thinking about what I want to say in this review for a while. I could certainly tell you about how great the classes are and how I come out feeling stronger and more confident than I did when I went in. I could tell you about the variety of classes—hot, warm, non-heated, power, sculpt, vin + yin, and more that are designed for any and all levels of ability. But I think the most important thing I want you to know is how incredibly welcoming this group is. I was a little bit nervous about getting back into yoga after the pandemic and a car accident that left me with chronic pain, but Megan and the rest of the instructors are the warmest, kindest, most encouraging group. Everyone I've interacted with in class is genuinely wonderful. If you have any reservations, please give it a try

Anderson Yoga Center is amazing. The variety of classes, the flexibility of scheduling, the cool, warm, hot and power classes, along with all the offered retreats and special classes. It is a studio that has everything to offer. The most important part though are the teachers. They all are so unique, exceptionally qualified, and fun. The bottom line for me is the AYC is a pleasure to attend. I look forward to going to every class I attend. Go Megan and staff!!!
