Anderson Walk In Medical Clinic -- Redding

If I could give no stars, I would. This was absolutely the worst “care” I’ve ever received from any doctor throughout my 10years with this very stable, common, life long medical condition. I left crying and shaking from such hostile, confrontational, and unacceptable behavior from Dr. Stephanie Casteel. I had been coming to this location for almost 4 years for both primary care as well as urgent care. Dr. Holly was amazing but Dr. Casteel desperately needs to learn how to speak to people with kindness and compassion. From the beginning of my interaction with her, she was hostile towards me and lacked any compassion or understanding. They’ve been my pcp for years. Called to make an appointment and was informed that they decided that I could ONLY be seen at the Palo Cedro location despite the fact that the Redding location is walking distance from my home. I asked if they were full-up in Redding now and the receptionist said, “no.” So I asked why I had to go fifteen extra miles to a different clinic and she said, “because that’s what Dr Stephanie wants.” If you want to be treated as a child, a burden and as someone whose health doesn’t matter to them despite years of potentially lining their pockets, then this clinic is for you!

Walked in, did not have an appointment. I was seen in a prompt manner. These people assessed my condition, followed through with recommended evaluation, and the results were back quickly. An infection. Anti-biotics, all better, and done. Well, not quite. Before it was over, I was at last seen by my assigned primary. After having waited for months. That visit led to a FOUR ALARM FREAK-FEST. I will leave it at this, I am now withdrawing my association with the primary I was assigned and am awaiting a primary from Anderson Walk In Clinic. These people are good. Thank you AWC! I never hit the post button on this so it has sat idle all of this time. i am apologize for the delay, I am happy to say that Dr. Stephanie Castille is officially my new PCP. Anderson Walk in is awesome!

My first experience as a walk-in was awesome. The person at the front desk was very courteous and respectful and down to earth. The doctors assistant was also very cool and made me feel at ease and then I meet the doctor and she was like a breath of fresh air and very knowledgeable with her diagnosis for what I had going on. I lived here for almost 3 years, and now I finally have a primary physician. With that said, I appreciate these people with all my heart... I will definitely recommend them

I normally am seen at the Anderson office and have had terrible health care for years. My provider left so I went to the Redding office and after speaking with Stephanie for 10 minutes I felt like Christmas came early! I have quite a few health problems and she had already reviewed my records and had ordered tests for me before I was seen. I was so impressed with her! The office staff is also wonderful. I'm so happy I made the change to the reading office!
