I guess it says something when some doctors you have to wait weeks to months to see and some like Dr. B you can get an appointment the next day! As another reviewer said it best, she was condescending, not thorough at all, wanted me to schedule multiple other appointments to discuss my questions! I feel like it was a waste of my time and money. Oh well.

I was a patient at Dermatology Partners, an office of which Dr. Basile took over when my former dermatologist left. I will no longer be a patient there due to Dr. Basile’s incredibly condescending and strange bedside manner with patients. I walked into the office and was immediately greeted by a flyer telling me to follow her on Instagram for product recommendations as if she’s a wellness influencer. Last year, she diagnosed me with seb derm on my scalp. She prescribed a medicated shampoo. I was experiencing a flare up, and upon examination this time she mysteriously asked who diagnosed me with seb Derm (she did) and then newly diagnosed me with psoriasis, or so I thought. She pushed a CeraVe shampoo on me, then prescribed an additional steroid shampoo, and she considered the case closed.

There was a bit of a scheduling mix up for my appt. She saw me anyway and was very nice. She had a lot of good suggestions and was able to treat my complaint the same day, even though she squeezed me in. She was clear in the next recommended steps so I have a good plan moving forward. She seemed to be knowledgeable and she made me feel comfortable and I trusted her opinion from the gate. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely see her again!

I was a patient seven years ago. I had recently came up with another problem with my eczema. I wanted to go back to this doctor in media Pennsylvania. However, I called the office and she’s no longer working there. I was told she’s out in Doylestown. She has a really good great bedside manner. She talked to me like I was a human. She didn’t use all that big doctor talk, but really spoke to me with respect and understood my condition of eczema was important. Great doctor. I’m sorry I can’t make an appointment and go all the way out to Doylestown. I wish Dr. Basile all the best.

I wouldn't go as far as to not recommend. Amy because she does have good bedside manner and is very open to everything that you are trying to tell her about your situation and experience. However, she was not very open to things that my husband thought maybe the root of his reoccurring rash. He has been struggling for almost a year with this chronic terrible rash that was not responsive to steroidal creams at all. He started at a different office, even went to urgent care before because of how severe it was. His primary care physician told him to get a second opinion and that's how he ended up in Amy's office. He told her he wanted a skin biopsy per the recommendation of his primary care physician because nothing they had tried so far, which were just standard protocol creams, were helping
