Dr. Gutierrez is wonderful! She is so very thorough at every appt. and is on top of every facet of my treatment. Her entire team is amazing. I know that I am in great hands and that she has such knowledge of every facet of my care. Dr. Gutierrez stays current on new treatments and the very latest research. There are so many uncertainties for me to worry about, but having the best neurologist sure gives me some comfort. I am very fortunate to have found her!

The first visit to the "MS Specialist" was after a 2 week hospital stay and being diasgnosed by ORMC through extensive tests that were sent off to Mayo and she told me very matter of factky that I didnt have MS because she was the expert and knew more than all the doctors at Orlando Helath Hospital. The second visit, I was put on an MS medication (after recieveing a dual MS diagnosis from a second opinion) that caused adverse reactions that I had to abruptly stop taking, and the third visit I was told I that I might also have Fibromyalgia and I was depressed and she wanted to prescribe antidepressants even through she isnt a psychiatrist. All three visits I saw a different intern each time and had to go over my medical history from the beginning like I had never been to that office befo

Zero out of ten. Would give less if I could. My experience with Dr. Amy (Amparo) Gutierrez, MD, FAAN, was absolutely horrific. I went to her in the past with my mother regarding concerns about MS, and instead of receiving support or answers, we were met with attitude and coldness. Every time I asked a question, she looked at me like I was stupid and responded in a rude, condescending tone. She made us feel completely unwelcome and disrespected. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience. I strongly felt there were undertones of bias in the way she treated us, which only made things worse. No one should be made to feel that way, especially when dealing with serious health concerns. Believe the bad reviews. They’re not exaggerating. I wish I had taken them more seriously before wasting time
