What a great find! The moment I walked in the door, the staff were professional and pleasant. I checked in and was seen immediately. I felt comfortable and at ease right away due to the amazing bedside manners. I want to thank Dr. Lorentz, JJ my RN, and paramedic Will for wonderful care. Dr. Lorentz was very thorough, caring and informative and JJ was made sure I was comfortable at all times. The facility is clean, bright, in a convenient location, and they take Medicare. Elyse and Lindsay who worked the front desk were polite and courteous. Although I can’t say it was an enjoyable experience as I felt pretty crappy I will say the staff at American ER made it as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended. Theresa L. March 8, 2026

Spent 30 minutes waiting to be admitted. Then next 40 minutes general questions, temperature, asked for flu and covid test. Both come negative 30 min later right after I asked for them, just like the test become ready immediately after I reminded them. Was also prescribed with antibiotics Az. There was 6 or 8 people in the shift, still it took more than an hour. There was another couple which came after me and seemed left before me. Not sure if this place create any value any more.

They were very kind and very thorough. Tested me for both Covid amd Flu and confirmed flu A. Did a chest xray to make sure no pneumonia. I went in becaus i was having breathing issues besides cough cold, fever. They gave me meds and treatment that made me feel better while I waited. They had me follow up with my regular PCP and she said they did a great job too.

This ER took great care of my husband late at night and made us aware the he had appendicitis. We were transferred to Methodist where he had surgery. Over all a really good experience with the ER and highly recommend this place. We had a YETI bottle stolen while we were there by another customer and this ER was so nice as to buy him a new one, even through it was absolutely not their fault. This level of care really speaks volumes to the entice and compassion of the staff.

I took my teen son here after receiving a head injury at his game. He was seen quickly and they did a CAT scan on him as well onsite. We were out in less than an hour. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I will definitely go back for an urgent or emergency room. They also gave me a challenge coin because I was a veteran. Thank you for your services and helping my son!!!
