We found this pharmacy by chance while desperately searching for a place that could compound a prescription ointment, and it turned out to be such a blessing. Our baby had severe diaper rash due to diarrhea, with significant redness and skin breakdown. Regular diaper creams were not helping at all. Our doctor prescribed a compounded ointment, but after visiting several pharmacies, we were told none of them could make it. Our baby was in a lot of pain and crying constantly, which was heartbreaking. Thankfully, this pharmacy was able to help. The pharmacist, Dr. Dave, truly felt like a ray of light in a very stressful moment. Although the ointment was originally scheduled to be ready the next day, I explained how uncomfortable our baby was and asked if there was any chance we could get it

Dr. Dave and the staff at Americare pharmacy are phenomenal and so welcoming. They know you personally and are very quick and reliable. Many times I've gotten refills or medications on upon request right then and there. I'm not sure why anyone would go anywhere else because their service and personnel is unmatched.

I cannot say enough nice things about this pharmacy. I live in Edgewater and don't drive so when the Duane Reade near me closed, I was freaking out because there were no other pharmacies near me within walking distance. On top of that I get a cpl of prescriptions that are controlled substances so not all pharmacies will deliver them to me. Americare was suggested to me about 6 months ago or so and I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with them so far. I've never actually been there in person but whenever I speak to the pharmacist, Dave, on the phone he's just as nice as can be & they deliver my prescriptions right to my front door.
