The amenities and community are impressive, the facility is clean and safe, and AH offers a host of engaging and fun activities for residents. Rachel and Kelli have been outstanding in their respective roles representing American House. I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness, responsiveness, and empathy — and for generally making everything easy for Mom and me during a stressful time.

Our family has been very happy with our stay at American House Lakeshore. The calendar is chock full of available activities, which include many off-site field trips. The opportunity for social connection has been a major benefit. The staff is friendly, helpful and committed. Building maintenance is ongoing, keeping things looking fresh. Onsite care providers are always available, with an array of à la carte services depending upon need. Outside providers offer services such as flu shots, hearing tests… there’s always something going on. We feel lucky we found such a supportive place to live.

Shout out for Lucy H. at American House Lakeshore! As Head Housekeeper, she keeps AH & Resident apartments clean & tidy, but she does so much more than that! Lucy truly “takes care” of the residents - she greets everyone with a smile and checks on their welfare. Her positive attitude is contagious - she lights up the hallways with JOY!
