American Dental Care

The actual dental work is fine, the administrative stuff leaves a lot to be desired. They claim they are open Thursdays but they cancelled my appointment, never called me back to reschedule, When I finally called them back, I got another thursday appointment and they cancelled that one too. I've called multiple times and no one answers the phone, and i never got a response from the "contact us" form on their website. Another minor thing is they don't have online forms for medical records, so every appointment starts with 10 minutes of tediously filling out tiny checkboxes on a clipboard, even if you have no changes.

Avoid this dental practice at all costs. All they care about is money. They do not care about the patients. They are known to over-diagnose patients in an effort to swindle people out of their money. My wife and I at different times over the last year were both told we had cavities we needed to have filled. This was a lie. Separate second opinions both revealed no cavities for either of us. I was also told I needed a mouth guard for sleeping, and that conveniently insurance would not cover it and the cost for the guard was over $500. Again, a second opinion revealed this was a lie. No mouth guard needed. Beware of insurance fraud with this practice as well. They will tell you insurance didn’t cover your visit and want you to pay in cash. This is an insurance scam. My visit was wonderful as soon as walking through the door to the work I had done to leaving. Everyone was pleasant and professional every step of the way. I was made to feel like I was at home. I'd highly recommend American Denistry in Doylestown.

Highly recommend this dentist! Everyone is so nice and so understanding! My teeth didn’t look great going in but afterwards, I look like a whole new person(in a very good way!) American Dental is the place to be if you want a bright smile with clean teeth. The hygienist is very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.
