Ambulatory Oral Surgery & Anesthesiology

I went in today for oral surgery I have to say Everybody from the receptionist to the doctors assistant and doctor Steven kollander treated me with much care very good customer service will definitely recommend !!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Had one wisdom tooth extraction here and the experience was good. Dentist was nice and made me feel comfortable to come back for my other wisdom teeth that needed to be extracted also, so I decided to make an appointment for just that, however the office informed me the day before I’m scheduled to state they over booked and my insurance is no longer taken. I was so upset with the lack of unprofessionalism and disregard for my time to wait until the day before to communicate this information. I was ready to get the procedure done and over with, however because of lack of communication on the office end I have to now search for a new oral surgeon. Very disappointed.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Kollander a few days ago. A friend had recommended him to me, so I travelled from Long Island to see him. I was not disappointed. The receptionists were friendly & the dental assistant was very helpful. He was great, very friendly. He did the best to make this scary process comfortable for me. I really liked him. Overall, a great experience.

I just got two of my wisdom teeth taken out. I had Dr. Kollander and I must say he is the best oral surgeon I've ever met. He is very funny and caring. His staff is very professional and polite couldn't have asked for any better. He explained the procedure and help make sure i was okay. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

It's a busy office so the very polite reception seems a bit frazzled but the wait for me (appt on 3: 00pm on a Mon) wasn't as bad as expected considering it was a busy time of day. The rental assistant was very kind & knowledgeable. The doctor put me at ease considering the fact that I am anxious and was extremely kind & generous with his time with me; I never felt rushed. He let me know what he was doing at every step of the procedure in an effort to put my mind at ease & made a dad joke or two. I'd recommend this practice to anyone in Queens!
