Amanda's Massage Therapy

Worst human possible, always canceling an hour before her appointments and refusing to refund!!! Only cares about taking your money but not doing the massage and blocked me when I told her I wanted my 150 back

I purchased a deal through Groupon for my girlfriend. What should have been a relaxing day to recharge and enjoy has turned into a nightmare. Amanda is incredibly unprofessional, communicates poorly and extremely delayed, and has given us the runaround as we have tried scheduling the service for 4 months now. Furthermore, the funds I used to secure this abhorrent service appear to have vanished and no refund has been issued. Absolutely avoid this person and her business!

Absolutely unpleasant experience and the most unprofessional person I've dealt with. She is on Groupon as well, please do not book her. For the first attempt at the appointment she cancelled less than an hour before and rescheduled me and as I showed up at the building I notice the office is closed and I call her. She was sleeping and "missed" her alarm. Offer seems sketchy as does the vendor. It was very misleading on Groupon with the positive reviews and I see on this review forum that it is indeed the opposite.

So my friend bought us 2 massages and facials Through Groupon. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a negative review but she was super flaky with scheduling, and then it took over a month to book. Then she texts us and says she “has an emergency” and can’t do our scheduled appt. She offers exactly 2 hours later than scheduled time, which was odd as is if it were an emergency. And then says or another day if you want. Since we’ve waited a month and a half we opt for the next available time, which is 2 hours later. She then sends a text exactly one hour before, canceling. I really should have gone with my gut because I had a weird feeling about her from the getgo. If you’re looking to book with her expect a long time before you can make an appt. The best massage I’ve had in Hampton Roads - hands down . Besides being incredibly knowledgeable and 100% knowing her stuff … Amanda is incredibly fun, easy to talk to , and puts you at ease immediately! I have chronic issues with upper back pain that hardly no massaged therapist can handle, but she knew exactly what to do . Helping people is clearly her passion and it shows . She has raw talent and I’m so thankful I found her business. Thanks again , Amanda! 💛
