Altman Animal Hospital

EXCELLENT, been using Dr altman for my Dogs & Great Danes for 16yrs. I drive over 1½hrs to still use him. Won't waste my time with any other veterinarians.

On Christmas Day or 7 month old puppy began to not act quite right. The next morning he was lethargic, passing blood and vomiting. We call Dr. Altman and we were told to bring him right in. Dr Altman spent the next 8 days doing everything he could to save our boy. He called us like clockwork 3 times a day keeping us updated on everything that was happening. I know he spent quite a few nights way beyond closing hours taking care of Griz. He truly went above and beyond for Grizzly and never gave up. It was a grave situation and he was very professional and caring. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this man and his staff. They were so compassionate and took the time to explain everything in detail. His charges were more than reasonable. I cannot express in words just how won

Dr. Altman is the absolute best. My fur babies are my family, and I don't even think about taking them anywhere else (except emergency situations, of course). Dr. Altman has taken care of our pets for over 15 years. He and his staff are the most respectful, compassionate and loving caregivers you will find in this area. Very importantly, he has never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, and that means a lot to us.

Anytime that I visit this office Dr Altman is friendly, direct, and realistic when it comes to my dogs health he also provides all options and recommendations as needed. Reminds me of a general practitioner or an awesome pediatrician for the "fur babies"
