Excellent care. Doctor is very skilled. Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. I only gave 4 stars because I waited about 40 minutes to be seen which I attributed to new staff ironing out the kinks of taking over a new practice. I’m sure that will improve.

I will never go to another dentist office for the rest of my life. I do have to pay out of pocket but it’s so worth every penny. I have never met a doctor who has put this much care into any patient, than ALL the amazing people who work with Altamont Dentistry. Like most people I didn’t like going to the dentist. I used to switch offices pretty regularly or didn’t schedule appointments as frequently as you’re supposed to. They were always too rough, rude or never gave me the appropriate information that I needed. That was before I came to Altamont Dentistry. The wonderful people here will always ask questions to help you feel more comfortable and confident. This practice has cared for my teeth for more than 25 years! Beyond the competence of the dentists, it is the entire staff and culture that keep me coming back. When Kathy, the hygienist, cleans and examines my mouth, she demonstrates caring that goes beyond seeing her work as a job—she fills her role with purpose. While the dentists I originally saw have retired—and they too treated me as a whole person—I have confidence that Dr. Lewis will carry on in that tradition. I’m going to miss the other staff who have also retired, the new folks are off to a great start!
