Allure of Lake Storey

My family member is regularly in dirty clothing and doesn't even get a washcloth to clean his face upon waking. The kitchen ignores his dietary preferences, so he goes hungry most days. They lost one of his hearing aids. I spoke to 4 different nurses asking them to take his remaining hearing aid to the VA clinic so he could get new ones. That was not done. Very negligent staff.

Once again Joarodzjomarie leaves a review with false information I will put the picture below of the previous review (my father is well taken care and this place has done a amazing job! The previous review from JoaRodzjomarie is all false information I’m am the legal guardian of my father and he is well taken care off. To you my sister Joan everything I have to tell you is to seek help for your mental illness and leave these people alone . I visited with my friend again today, March 27, 2020. It was a very nice experience. I met 2 people I knew back when about 5 to 10 years ago that live there now and they seem happy. It has a pleasant atmosphere. I talked with a few other residents that seem well adjusted there also. I can now give a 5 star rating. I think highly of this nursing home. I am giving 4 star review at present time as I have only been in the facility once and do not want to make assumptions. The staff that greeted me was friendly, pleasant, very caring and acted in a professional manner. These were key upon my arrival as 1st appearances are always highly important! I have a dear friend that is a resident there and had high hopes she was getting excellent care. The atmosphere was calming and the staff interacted

Tammy was nice enough to take the time to show us the newly renovated area which will be so nice..And love the family room area and Bistro area..Great addition! Also Wendy was so kind to jump up from her desk duties let us in and out the several times of our comings and goings..( on the Weekends Debbie is always very welcoming and you have a new girl too who welcoming also) And Lynn is always very helpful and kind. We appreciate the care of the staff for our sister.. She is declining and they are attentive to her many needs and our sister is content... God Bless you all !

I was not pleased with this place. There is no communication in that place. They don’t tell u anything when u get there it is not a place I would take anyone.They tell you they will take you to a appointment than cancel because they booked to many appointments.So if go there after a knee replacement plan on taking whoever yourself because they don’t keep there promise.I asked the nurse to fix my dad a bag of popcorn on Saturday he didn’t get it till Sunday night.She also told she would give to him Sunday afternoon never did.So don’t go there if you don’t have to the rating should be a negative.
