Allison McLarty

Dr Allison McLarty and the rest of her team in the cardio thoracic department at Stony Brook hospital were really awesome! I was referred to her for a very unusual health problem and I felt that she listened, ordered tests and collaborated with other health care providers in order to figure out the best option for my care. She performed the surgery but also brought in the plastic surgeon (Dr Tara Huston) to get her opinion. Every person who was part of my care was professional, compassionate and supportive. I am healing nicely, back at work ahead of schedule and looking forward to being active. I cannot overstate how happy I am to have found Dr McLarty; she is incredible!

Dr. McLarty is wonderful. She is caring and explains everything so thoughtfully. Her staff is also amazing. Her NP, Caroline and her PA, Lauren are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I can’t say enough about Malina, the medical assistant. She puts you immediately at ease when she takes you into the exam room.

Wonderful care overall. Caring and friendly nurses, nursing assistants and doctors, PA’s. Dr. McClarty is a talented and knowledgeable surgeon. I would want her to be my surgeon if I should need heart surgery ever again.

Dr. McLarty is wonderful! She, and her Thoughtful, thorough compassionate and amazing in their field of medicine. You could not ask for a better surgeon.
