Allina Health Urgent Care – Shoreview

This is a great urgent care. They often have much shorter wait times vs. other options on this side of town, and you can let them know when you are on your way and they will text you live updates so you don't need to spend a huge amount of time in the waiting room. Important to note - they sometimes overestimate wait times, so don't go too slowly or you might feel rushed to get their in time! A great option, especially at times like Friday afternoon when other urgent cares are more backed up. The nurses and doctors have been efficient, do good exams, have gotten me radiographs quickly when needed, and have provided useful medical management multiple times. Highly recommend!

Allina Urgent Care is not the best place to visit weeknights, as they're so often at capacity. That said, the care is good (for a standard American medical facility). The staff I worked with were efficient and compassionate, and I felt reasonably heard and cared for. If you can call ahead to schedule an appointment, it's a good option overall.

Everyone here was so kind and helpful. I felt heard. I was prescribed potent medication that is helping my issue. It was fast and easy. I did arrive 10 min before they opened to be the first in line. Many came after me, so I’m sure it can get busy. But the staff is absolutely phenomenal here. I will make it my go-to no matter how long I have to wait during strep season! Thank you everyone from reception to the nurse to the PC who saw me. Godsends.

Literally the fastest appointment humanly possible. Feet in the door to feet out the door with diagnosis and prescription was less than 45 mins. Staff was helpful and efficient. It was strep but still. Ive waited over 2 hours for a strep test elsewhere.

Awful experience. They are argumentative, have poor communication, can’t provide information and medical evidence, or review a record of care to offer guidance or insight on the current diagnosis —especially if past exams results are similar but there was a treatment plan before and this visit they give no treatment plan. I waited 3-4 hours for this disrespect and nothing service. I’m so disappointed and tired, and when people are sick and having to argue for competence it’s ridiculous.
