Allina Health Urgent Care – Centennial Lakes (Edina)

They have a system that texts you what place you are in the line. That was nice. They seem pretty efficient and knowledgeable. I actually was told I needed to go to a different place after the nurse check-in, but they were so pleasant and clearly well-informed that I wasn't even a little upset. And they set up the appointment at the other urgent care and skipped to me to the front of the line. The weather was nasty that day and the nurse from the other clinic even called to make sure I was ok. Pretty good. I felt cared for.

Smoothest urgent care experience I think I’ve ever had. I checked in online, was called back to a room in less than five minutes. The provider saw me within a few minutes, and I was out the door. Door to done time was 15 minutes. You can’t beat that. The cherry on top was that all of the staff were kind, professional, and efficient.

I was in a lot of pain after a car accident and the last thing I want was to have to wait hours to be see. I was having some respiratory issues and stopped in after work, 20 minutes before closing time. I was still able to be seen and was taken back quickly. I didn’t have to wait long to see a physician and was listened to. I was included in my care decisions and was pleased with the outcome. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had previously been to this location with concerns about a concussion a week after I had been assaulted. I was obviously very emotional and was treated with the utmost care and kindness. They immediately took me into a safe space to continue my care and met all my needs.

Professional friendly staff. If your wait is long there's a coffee shop downstairs. Bring something to do if you're there during a rush, like after school or after work. I've usually gone in early afternoon and my wait is less than an hour. It's my favorite urgent care in the cities.
