I feel wary before writing a negative review, but this one feels warranted. Especially after seeing that the issues I dealt with yesterday seem to be reoccurring ones for years according to other reviews. I have empathy for a busy and high demand office setting like this, however quality of care to patients should be a priority above anything else. (It’s also a novel so buckle up, there were many things that stood out as issues/concerns.) I was referred for allergy testing (I also have asthma) by my PCP. The admin I spoke to was kind and could understand the urgency of my health issues and added me to the cancellation list. I can’t invalidate anyone else’s experiences, but I’ve just left my first appointment and everyone was kind and efficient. The medical assistants, nurse (Carrie?) and Dr Settipane were helpful and answered all my questions without making me feel like a bother—and I asked a lot! I feel fully informed on my next steps. The entire appointment took less than 3 hours and there was almost no waiting, even though I was 15-20 minutes late and had to fill out the paperwork. I am a black woman with autism, which means new Dr appointments can be difficult, and the reviews here scared me, but if you’re reading this, give them a try :)

Attempting to schedule an appointment with this practice was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. While I understand that healthcare staff are often under pressure, the conduct of Elizabeth (Liz), who handles appointment scheduling, was unprofessional and dismissive. I was referred to this office by my primary care physician at the recommendation of my rheumatologist. There was initial confusion about the nature of my referral, which I was happy to clarify. An appointment was eventually scheduled. However, when I followed up after a missed call, I encountered additional confusion. I just call the office to make sure the got the referral for my son and who ever the secretary is was very rude. And in professional. Even got offended because I call her bae. lol oh a nice way. I have never had someone to be so unprofessional and with no sympathy. I can definitely know she got no kids. She doesn’t know or understand a mother’s point of view. Now I don’t want to bring my kid there. She say her name was Corey Kary what ever it was. You need to lower you tone girl.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I have been going here for 4+ years. They did an update test for my shots and I get my shot every 2 weeks. Lucy at the front desk greats me by name. Dr is great and Karen, Nicole and team are so friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience. If they’re busy… be patient but I’ve never waited more than 15 min. Maybe if you take the time and talk to everyone like actual people instead of vendors some of these reviewers would have a better experience?
