Allen Orthodontist - Dr. Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Maryam Mojdehi and her entire team at Allen Orthodontist. My daughter’s case was very complicated, and we were honestly worried at the beginning. However, Dr. Mojdehi turned a very difficult situation into a beautiful smile. Her knowledge, patience, and attention to detail truly made all the difference. What impressed us the most was not only her expertise, but also how well she coordinated with the other two doctors involved in my daughter’s implant treatment. She consistently followed up and worked as a team to make sure everything was done perfectly. That level of care and professionalism gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. Our son’s experience of braces with Dr Maryam Barnes has been nothing short of amazing. Thorough, transparent, comfortable, updated, no shortcuts. He is finishing his treatment and has a beautiful smile. They communicated the treatment plan and we didn’t deviate, no surprises. Yes braces cost money so you want to ensure you put your money with the right place that will take care of your child’s mouth for life (yes retainers after to keep that smile for life) and create an individual plan unique to their situation. I would 100% recommend them!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Barnes! I’ve had two kids work with her - one about to be completely out of braces and another halfway through phase 2 of braces. She was able to correct all the issues my oldest son had (including crowded mouth/mouth too small for teeth, gum recession) without the need to pull teeth or have a connective tissue graft surgery. She has made herself available outside of office hours when needed and just genuinely cares about her patients. I have two more kids who will likely need to work with Dr Barnes. She has definitely become a part of our family!

Both of my children went to Dr. Barnes for their orthodontics. One had an expander and the other had an expander, tongue guard and two rounds of braces. Dr. Barnes guides you thoroughly through each step of the process and clearly explains all options available. She is a perfectionist and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. The office also runs like clockwork. Every appointment is on time, all of the staff are friendly & professional and there is a nice waiting area, even an arcade in the back for the kids. Highly recommend!

Dr. Barnes and her staff are the best! I’ve known Dr. Barnes for over 20 years - she did my braces! So of course I would only trust her with my own children. She cares for each of her patients and is an expert in her profession. She feels like family! Highly recommended Dr. Barnes in Allen for orthodontics!
