AllCare Primary & Immediate Care: Smyrna

Dr. Fain is so patient and kind, I go out of my way to see her whenever I need an appointment. The office as a whole is also just such a nice environment! Everyone there is incredibly friendly, and they'll absorb put you at ease if you find yourself anxious at the doctor. Highly recommend!!

Very unprofessional! I had a 15- mini appointment at 12:30 and didn’t leave until 1:30pm!! No apologies from the front desk or from my doctor. I had to take a work meeting in my appointment because I didn’t plan to start my appointment outside my lunch break(12-1pm). Keep in mind, 15-mins appointments have NO GRACE PERIOD, so if I’m 3 min. late, they wont let you see the doctor, which has happened to me. But when the doctor is late, there’s no response. I don’t recommend this place if you value timely appointments.

I can’t review the experience because they cancelled my appointment due to arriving after “their grace period”. I was 10 minutes late due to traffic, which I own, but I stood at the reception waiting to check in for another 10 minutes after arrival while the receptionist spoke to another patient. After I apologized for being late she told me they would not see me due to being past the 10 minute grace period. Since they promote themselves as a walk-in, I told her I would be fine with waiting to see the doctor as I needed a refill on my blood pressure that day. She went to the back to ask and they still said there was nothing they could do and I would have to reschedule (while she was telling me that I saw two medical staff peaking through the window at me, which was odd). I scheduled an appointment with AllCare Smyrna through Zocdoc. I selected my reason for the visit, picked the doctor, and took time off work to make the appointment. This resulted in reduced hours and less pay for the week. When I arrived, I was told, “Sorry, that doctor does not do that.” If that is true, then the option should not be available on Zocdoc. Someone should have contacted me days before the appointment to let me know. They called me twice on the same day as the appointment while I was working. They did not leave a voicemail. They did not send an email. They only sent insurance and pre-appointment reminders, so they clearly had the correct contact information. I would encourage anyone considering this practice to explore other options. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. I have encountered repeated issues with billing, including charges for services that were not provided. Additionally, I have concerns about the accuracy and completeness of the clinical documentation, as visit discussions, relevant medical history, and prior results were not properly reflected in my records. All of which is important in determining the billing codes to use so insurance is billed correctly and doesn’t deny claims. In my case, certain services were declined but were still billed, which suggests a lack of attention to detail and inadequate follow-through.
