The ladies that were working there were nicer for me but on your website it says you take all insurances they told me they didn't take medicare so who's lying to who And I was there today

I have been going to Dr. Tocker for several years. He is very personable and professional. I have read and heard the complaints about his staff. I personally haven't had any issues with them over the years. However, I can definitely see the possibility of someone taking an issue at a few staff. I've seen them on both good and bad days. Things can get stressful in that small office. Especially when a client doesn't pay their portion of the bill and they have to argue with them (and/or insurance) to get paid. I've worked in medical for many years before and I know how frustrating it can get. Bottom line? They have never been rude to me. They have always been organized and got all the insurance stuff in order for me too. Now, obviously, I don't know the whole story (from both sides) on the s

I paid out of pocket for something that was covered by my insurance. I told the receptionist that the insurance would pay it and she insisted that it would. It. Fast forward to me receiving a statement from my insurance company that they paid it!! I called the inside company and they said they would contact the office. The person at the insurance company said "the receptionist is a piece of work". I finally got my money back after the receptionist said that she finally got the insurance taken care of. Really?? Because of this I will not go back. Based on this I will not go back.

My wife, family and I have been patients of Tocker & Associates for over 10 years and have always found the care of Dr. Tocker and his staff to be very caring and patient. Their place of business is run smoothly, professionally and is very clean. When calling for non-emergeny issues I usually always get a live person to talk to and if not then I leave a voicemail and either John or Nicole call me back quickly. Both Nicole and John (Front Office) work very well together handling everything from assisting Dr. Tocker with exams, to eyewear to all our insurance questions. I also really appreciate the technology this office deploys as it assists with eyecare scheduling that works around my life. Although my gmail name is Maureen, my name is Juanita. My husband and I both are very happy that we transferred to Dr. Tocker's office. Him and his entire staff are very thorough , patient, and well knowledgeable of the industry. This is the first time I haven't had any issues with progressive lenses! In addition, I purchased contact lenses for the first time and reduced my stress level! It's such a freedom to not have to wear glasses all the time.
