I’ve been working with Susan for NSR (nervous system regulation) somatic work for nearly three years. I was referred by my therapist of 16 years, who described me as “just angry.” Letting that land was the moment my real healing began. I had lived 51 years in survival mode, and talk therapy alone had never fully reached it. Understanding that trauma is stored in the body—not just the mind—changed everything. I was in MVA 2.5 years ago. I have gone to countless Drs, physical therapist, had MRI, CT, X-rays, tests upon tests, have been bounced from one provider to another with zero results. Finally one knowledgeable physical therapist I happened to see was honest enough to tell me they really didn’t feel they could help but highly recommended I see Susan. Thank God! After 2.5 years of a very low quality of life, pain, inflammation etc after 4 sessions with Susan I am feeling so much better and I am seeing amazing results. Susan is incredibly thoughtful and caring about her clients and what their bodies are communicating. She uses gentle techniques, checking into and being mindful of your comfort throughout the session. It is incredibly personalized treatment experience, very soothing, and always helpful.

Can cause excruciating pain you can’t stop for hours at a time following a session. Invalidates your experience. She doesn’t educate you or really make you feel like a person. Not worth $150 to be hurt and then told to deal with the 8/10 spasming pain by reading a google slide deck. I was so excited to try somatic therapy to help with my mental health and also to see a physical therapist as my back and hips were really sore. This is what the visit was like. Enter, take off your shoes and wait. I was led into an office, she thanked me for filling out my paperwork, but didn’t review any of my issues or concerns.
