I got gastric sleeve by Dr Garay 3 months ago & I have lost 65 pounds! This doctor & his team Are great at what they do! Very professional & thorough. Especially his staff at the office, those ladies are so nice! After meeting with multiple doctors for this surgery I decided choose Dr Garay. He really cares about his patients and their overall health and wellbeing. If you are considering him, just do it! I had multiple doctors urge me to get the surgery but didn’t take the time to thoroughly explain the procedure or send me out for labs. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Garay’s office staff. They were consistently rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic professionalism. Despite having a test order submitted well in advance, I was told they “didn’t have time” to fax the order—something that is a routine part of medical office work. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of empathy. After explaining that I needed time to save nearly $10,000 for the procedure, I was told that this was a “personal issue,” as if financial realities aren’t a common and valid concern for patients.
