Over the past 6 years, I have brought four dogs to Algona Animal Hospital. Dr. Mangat and his staff have always treated my pets with sensitivity and kindness and given solid medical care and recommendations to me. They never try to over-sell treatments, food, or supplements. If they recommend something, I know that it is genuinely necessary to provide the best care for one of my babies. I have had to being one of my dogs in several time to fix injuries, and they always do their best to work her into their schedule as soon as possible. Whenever I am Waiting for test results, they call me right away and deliver the news with compassion when the news has not been good (cancer). This place is very reasonably priced and the people here are very kind. Both times I got vaccines for my dog, I called and they literally got me in right away. 15 minutes later. The visit was $79, one parvo shot $40, bordatella $28. I called around like 5 different places locally and they all had around a week or more wait and they were all $80 and up for the visit. This place was the best priced and no wait what so ever.

Endless thanks to these two people Dr Jagpal Mangat and his assistant his wife!!!! So great service so compassionate people !! The doctor explained everything to me what is going on with my cat he did all required injections helping me to avoid this stressful medicine given by syringe he gave me instructions what to do at home and he taught me how to give the cat the ointment for cat appetite. He was very patient explaining details for caring my cat at home, answered all questions These people love animals and do their best to help them Dr Jagpal is the vetdoctor given to us and animals by GOD !!!!

A very experienced and knowledgeable veterinarian. We have been bringing our cats to them for 15 years at least. A husband and wife team they have been with us through some of the most difficult times with our pets. We appreciate them very much and recommend them to anyone in need of veterinary care. We absolutely trust them with the health of our pets. We know that you can too.
