Alexa Chai

I have switched to a new urologist after Dr. Chai poorly handled my case. With blood in my urine I was sent for a CT scan which was negative. I tried several times to find out the results but she would only tell me at an appointment. Then I found they had not received the results after a week and I finally had to run the test down to forward to her office myself. No concern or initiative on the office’s part. Although test negative she didn’t request a urinalysis to see if I still had blood in my urine. Within a few weeks I had a kidney stone attack which test didn’t pick up. At best Dr Chai’s care and attention seems to be hit or miss. I’d rather go elsewhere!

No follow up post hospital and doesn’t return calls. Left 7 voicemails over 3 weeks. Not one call. She required a Foley catheter for family member who was urinating on his own prior to her visit, and with instructions for it to be removed after 2 days. She won’t return calls or give auth to remove. How does a doctor succeed with this kind of irresponsible lack of response? Over 3 weeks now and still wearing catheter. I’m baffled.

Dr Alexa Chai has been great taking care of my kidney stones for a year. She’s been knowledgeable, helpful, and cares too. Thank you Dr Chai for helping me to get finally stone free and always following up with appointments. -Mr K.

Dr Chai is the most amazing Doctor that I have known in my 70 + years of my life. She reminds me of the Doctors I experienced when I was growing up at my young age when doctors would make house calls carrying their little bag and showing love for their patients. Dr Chai is very patient, listens to your needs, & explains everything in detail. Dr Chai don’t ever change the world is so lucky to have you.

Dr. Alexa Chai has been a great doctor to me over the past year. My concerns and surgery with her have always been resolved and have surpassed by expectations. Dr. Chai cares for her patients.
