Albertsons Market Pharmacy

My husband went to pick up a prescription. After waiting several minutes (five customers ahead of him), the tech waited on him. He didn’t get her name, but she was an onset woman. She told him that his medication wasn’t ready yet because she needed to get a prior authorization. He showed her the email from his insurance that stated his prescription had been authorized three days ago. This is a long standing prescription and not new to my husband. She refused to check the computer or to call his insurance. She acted quite rudely and dismissive. My husband has bad arthritis and uses a cane. Considering that we can use any pharmacy and chose Albertsons, one would think customer service and general respect would be a priority.

If you are not happy, they simply don't care! I waited 40 minutes for a simple flu shot with an appointment. Every time I asked them how long I had to wait, they said soon. Finally I run out of patience and told them I had to go, they just simply shrugged and said "ok". No apologies, simply rude and unprofessional.

My partner went to pick up his prescription that he called the previous day and confirmed it was available. Came into today to pick up he prescription and said it to wait that they needed to fill it and had him wait 50 mins. He checked in half way to see why it was taking so long and was told they were sure they had it but then said they did have it and we’re going to fill it now. Then after another wait told him they did not have it. Questioned him about his insurance saying it did not cover that brand and only the generic brand. My partner stated he had new insurance that he was providing.The pharmacist said it still would not be covered before even looking at it. Mirna a new pharmacist was wonderful. It was closing time and she quickly filled my prescriptions. Very pleasant and efficient.

Ann, Jordan, and Steve are terrific. My mother has been going there for years and I've seen them in action. They are thorough in going over prescriptions being picked up. Caring in treating everyone with warmth, professionalism, and understanding. No matter how busy they are, you won't see them rushing their comments or being brusk; don't know how they stay so calm! Acknowledges everyone when they come up to the pharmacy. And when you have questions, they are diligent in their understanding and provide helpful, informative answers.
