Albany VA Hospital

My husband has been in this hospital more than a few times. This time he is in dire condition. He checked in on Saturday and hadn’t been cleaned up until Wednesday. He asked to be cleaned up in the middle of night from a urine mishap. Three people came in and left without helping. This morning he was asleep with a bi pap machine so I guess he didn’t need breakfast. When I asked the aide if we could take off the bi pap so he could have water and talk to me about how he was her response was oh I can’t do that. That’s respiratory. I asked if she could please get someone to come do it.. It only took 40 mins for a nurse to respond. I truly believe not only that they completely forgot about him but they didn’t care. If I had not come in they would have left him like that all day. I fully underst

I have been going to This Very VA FOR WELL OVER 30 NOW. Granted it was like Jungle General 30 Years Ago. But now with a Major up-grade and much better Doctors. I NIW GET THE BEST CARE FROM EVERY DEPARTMENT I HAVE TO GO TO. GREAT CARE. AND IF THEY CAN’T DO IT IT GET’S SENT OUT FOR CARE. THE CARE THEY SEND YOU TO IS PERFECT.

The Orthopedics Unit is terrible. They ask you to get blood and ekg at a local clinic which takes alot of time. Doesnt matter if you're in agony. Appointments are a month or two out for everything. You need an MRI, that will be 4 months of waiting. Rediculous!

I was able to schedule three specialty clinic appointments in one day! All three were on time and handled in a calm, professional manner. Staff, nurses and doctors were personable and professional.

Was told to go to ER but after limping to ER all doors to ER are locked and say to go to main entrance. Good thing I didn't billed out at your door. What happend to your integrity.
