We had Dr Kaufman and his team for a surgical procedure. Our situation involved communicating with another facility south of AMC for well over three weeks . Due to Dr Kaufman’s continued Diligence in seeing that the patients needs were a top priority. In doing so eliminating a huge challenge/ worries for the patient and his family . We could not ask for a better provider. Dr Ronald Kaufman is the Best of the Best ! You and your team ROCK !

Nobody likes getting a surgical procedure but since I had to, I consider myself lucky to live near Albany Med. The pre-op preparation online and by phone was smooth and informative, and the day-of process was seamless. A thousand thanks to my exceptional team of Jane, Brendan, Liza (OR nurse), Elizabeth, Toni, Dr. Tu and Dr. Lee - they do what they do because they truly care about their patients.

I had an MRI and wanted to review the tech who helped me. I am extremely claustrophobic and was very nervous about the scan. The gentleman who performed the procedure (I wish I’d gotten his name) was unbelievably accommodating, putting me in a larger machine as soon as he heard I was nervous, letting me take a break when needed, and talking me through the entire procedure. I was so grateful for his patience and kindness to help me through a challenging exam.

I had a Tonsillectomy yesterday and truly it was a GREAT experience,my team was very supportive and understanding about my anxiety etc, they gave me bed padding bc of my past medical conditions with seizures, my anesthesiologist was dr. Heart she was absolutely amazing and so nice, I went into the OR and laid down and she gave me a mask to breathe into, within 3 big breathes I was out and woke up in recovery, my surgeon was dr. Ryker she was so nice and supportive of my past PTSD with laughing gas and explained it was nothing like anesthesia, I truly absolutely recommend this hospital!

Had surgery today, dacryocystorhinostomy, (tube from tear duct inserted down into nose). The anesthesiologist was great, Dr. Rothschild was great. There were 2 nurses that took special care of us, being my husband has memory issues...Toni and Jane...Awesome. Felt like I was in the Best care!
