Albany Med Endocrinology: Shimon Tobolsky, PA

I've been three times now and I found that he was friendly and made me feel comfortable, from the start. He is very knowledgeable and took time to explain things. He asked me to tell how I was feeling and took time to listen. When I had biopsies done he explained things along the way and made a scary thing feel safe. I always am made to feel like I am in very good hands. The office staff is always friendly and courteous. I am in the best hands there and drive from Glen's Falls to have the expert care of Shimon Tolbosky. I'd refer anyone to them!

This office is a nightmare. Stay away! I loved working with Shimon. He was always very thorough. I put up with the disorganized office to continue seeing him. I was out of town and had forgotten my medication. I called the office saying I needed some medication. His assistant refused because I needed an appointment. I was more than willing to make an appointment in two weeks. Since I was out of town I couldn’t make an appointment sooner. She still refused. I defended myself saying they can’t refuse to give me my medication. Just give me enough for the next two weeks and I’ll come in as soon as I get back. When I got back I was transferred to Dr Watsky without anyone telling me I was being transfer to another doctor. So unprofessional! Dr. Watsky is not as thorough as Shimon at all but besi

Shimon is very thorough and takes time to go through the details. Through his eagle eye I was diagnosed early enough for my condition to get it treated and cured of symptoms. So grateful for him!

I was over 5 months pregnant and the dr tried to force me to get a biopsy. I even went in for the biopsy but started crying and couldn’t go through the process. My blood pressure rose and I couldn’t go through with the procedure. For women who’s been pregnant before you know how emotional and hormonal you can be while carrying a small human. So I chose to do the biopsy after birth. Needless to say today on March the 21st 2019 I called his office and a receptionist told me that he dropped me as a patient. They did not call me nor sent me a letter stating why he discharged me as a patient. I’m in the process of filling a complaint, also will speak to his head physician and also take it up with the board. He had an obligation to contact me to let me know why he no longer wanted me as a patien
