I am fairly new to this dental office and was leary at first but they have proven to be outstanding to me. Dr Gigilio is fantastic and is very pleasant to deal with and has no problem taking the time out to answer my questions and even show me examples if need be. Helayna is awesome and has such a calming and pleasant demeanor. Between the two of them they compliment eachother. I feel very confident and comfortable at this dental practice. The dental hygienist who did my first cleaning here was very thorough and did a good job also. The office staff is very efficient with the paperwork and unfortunately they did away with accepting my insurance however I don't plan on going anywhere else. Keep up the good work!

The entire practice is incredibly professional, friendly, and well-organized. Dr. Callahan is truly the best dentist I have ever met. He is extremely patient and always takes the time to explain every detail to me. He can probably sense my fear and insecurity about having “bad teeth,” yet he never shows judgment—only respect, kindness, and genuine care. Throughout every step of the procedure, he explains what he’s doing and makes sure I feel comfortable. From the front desk to the hygienist to the assistants—Leah, Branda, and everyone whose names I wish I could fully remember—the whole team makes me feel welcomed and supported. Their smiles, professionalism, and warmth turn a stressful dental visit into a reassuring experience.

I used to feel nervous about visiting the dentist, but not with the folks at Albany Dental Team. Doctor Dan filled a cavity in my wisdom tooth, which was in a difficult spot, and it was (mostly) painless; their attention to detail is outstanding. I appreciated how they made sure I couldn’t tell the difference between the enamel and the epoxy filling.

The dentist was very kind. Even so, it is difficult to get appointments and the wait is long. If you miss an appointment due to illness your teeth will suffer as a new apt is a very very long wait. The reason I need to give a rating on “1” is due to the staff blaming a patient for not booking a long enough appointment for a crown. Since when is this a reasonable excuse for failing to treat a patient? Then she canceled the appointment to push us past the date they stopped accepting CIGNA. The staff told me to make an appointment after the deadline, pay in full, and get reimbursed myself. She said Cigna didn’t pay enough. This was a rotten thing to cheat the patient out of an appointment needed for the crown, 2 weeks prior to them no longer taking CIGNA. !!! Because we trusted them, we have
