AIMS Urgent Care

Extremely unprofessional. Avoid this clinic. My mother had a deep finger cut and was bleeding heavily. This urgent care lists hours until 9:00 PM. I called ahead and was told they were accepting patients until 8:30 PM. We arrived at 8:26 PM. Instead of helping, Maria ran to lock the door and hid in the back. I called again while standing outside, and despite knowing my mom was standing there bleeding and that we arrived well within posted hours, they refused to see us. This is an urgent care—not a retail store. Locking the doors early and avoiding injured patients is unacceptable. Do not rely on this clinic if you actually need urgent medical care.

As a resident of Elk Grove, I feel it is important to share my honest experience so that other patients can make informed decisions. Unfortunately, our visit to this medical center was very disappointing. We experienced concerns both regarding the quality of medical care and the professionalism of the reception staff. The communication and overall treatment we received did not meet the standards one would expect from a healthcare facility. Most concerning was the experience my 10-year-old child had during our visit, which was very upsetting for us as parents. At first my experience was a positive one. I felt seen and heard. I was given a referral for an x-ray and lab work at two different facilities which I completed within 24 hours. However, it’s been over a week now and I haven’t received an update about the problem I was seen for. I had to contact the Urgent Care twice asking for an update and I still have not received one. I understand people are busy, but I was sent here by my doctor because they were unable to get me in for an appointment but now it’s been over a week and I wish I would’ve just gone to the emergency room instead which I’m going to have to do anyway now. Unfortunately, I guess Urgent Care means something different to people. Praying my condition hasn’t become more severe during this week.

The only thing I regret not doing is calling them to see if they take my health insurance plan. The service they provided me here were satisfactory. I am grateful to have AIMS open on a Saturday because my earache was troublesome to me. Upon arrival, the front desk ensured that information to get checked in was accurate. When Mark Robinson assessed my health, he explained to me about my issue, especially visually to help me understand what is going on with my body. Not only that but he gave his personal input about which pharmacy he prefers his patients go to and which ones is good or not. Aims urgent care was amazing and FAST! Their facility is so clean, and everyone was really friendly. I was able to be seen right away and they were able to solve my issue with knowledge and easy to follow steps. I highly recommend this urgent care if you are in need.
