Was looking forward to meeting the Doctor and becoming a patient of this practice. After sitting in the exam room nearly nude for 45 minutes past my appointment time, and having arrived another 15 minutes early per their request, I dressed myself and politely let the front desk know I was leaving. Not the experience or standard operating procedure I like to see from medical practices I choose to work with. I will not return. Can’t comment on their caliber of medical treatments.

I have been going to Aiken Dermatology for almost a year.I have paid out of pocket because they did not accept my insurance. Last month I went there and my “office visit” was $84.00 and my shaved biopsy was $148.80. This time just to have one spot “frozen” they charged $110.40 and an “office visit” of $136.00. When I questioned the cost they said “office visits” change with the circumstance. When I asked them to explain it I couldn’t get a straight answer. I thought an office visit was an office visit basically just to walk through the door and a procedure was what is needed done and a payment based off of what they did. This is very confusing. I was told they would give me paper work to submit to my insurance company but they could not give it to me today I would have to wait to get it in

Waited about a month for my first appointment and about 2 days prior to going in I was called to verify my medicare # "I guess it was written down incorrectly" but I gave the # to the caller and it checked out as good and we will see you tomorrow,, so I went there today and I was told my medicare advantage insurance isnt accepted ,, but I can still go see the doctor ...but, I will have to pay out of pocket,, so I left,,, so when you call to make an appointment ,, nobody will care to see if your info checkes out till your appointment date if then ,, I wasted the day going there and about 6 weeks waiting ,, the staff there are either lazy or clueless ,or both ,I dont know bout the doctors there but if they hire people like this for the rock bottom dollar well they are not looking out for y

Staff and PA could not have been better! All were personable and knowledgeable. Great experience.

I have been using Aiken Dermatology for years, going once a year. I was not informed Dr. Fitch had left the practice and was assigned to the PA, but continued to go for my yearly checks for skin cancer and any other issues. This year, our insurance changed and I presented my card to the front desk. Several minutes later they returned my card to me. I asked if everything was good and was told yes. I was seen by the PA and had numerous spots treated and one removed to biopsy( which turned out ok). One month later I returned for my recheck and was told I owed over $1,000 from my previous visit. They did not carry my insurance. They said,”I can’t believe we allowed you to leave without paying”.I can’t believe they didn’t inform me before the procedures were done Had I been told before my exa
