I had a wonderful experience with Doctor Veronica Zayas_Torres who attended me this morning. She was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to explain every detail of my upcoming treatment with genuine care and clarity. Her warm and compassionate approach made me feel truly supported and reassured. I’m grateful for her professionalism and empathy—she turned what could have been a stressful moment into one of trust and comfort.

I’ve been a patient of AHF about since the early 2000’s. Back when it was Referred to as a “Doctor’s Office” and not a “Clinic.” My last appointment with Dr. Henry I waited in an exam room for 3 hours before I became extremely vocal with the front desk . I was told that they double booked me and that I needed to come back. I travel 40 minutes from palm beach county. I called in a week ago to get a prescription for thrush. Thrush is a fungus that appears on your gums and makes it painful when wearing dentures in my case. I was told by a woman that stated her position as the supervisor of the front desk that she would stand over Doctor Henry until she was able to get him to write a prescription. Then have it delivered no later than the Tuesday after President’s day. That never happened.

"I have been a patient at AHF Northpoint for7 years. When I called today, Dec. 11 to reschedule my Dec 19 appt for a general checkup and go over lab results, I was informed that the earliest available appt was In April, approximately four months from now. In my 60​ + years of life, I have never encountered a primary care or specialist office with such a lengthy wait time for existing patients. This scheduling bottleneck means I cannot receive timely care for my health issue. While the staff was professional during the call, the overall office policy regarding patient access to care is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I hope the practice improves its capacity to serve its patient base more promptly.

I’ve been patient at AHF Northpoint for many years. Seems as each year passes the service diminishes drastically. In the past the reception desk staff was informative, helpful, compassionate. Now, it’s just staffed with people going through the motions. Now there’s the matter of corporate changes such as now having to see the doctor prior to having Labs which is now an additional office visit and copay! Why is this necessary when another appointment is needed for the lab results within 2 weeks? The new location is horrible. No longer is there a waiting area. After checking in you’re sent through the maze of patient rooms, ALONE, to find the room you’ve been assigned too. Why should anyone be walking through alone. Like my doctor, but getting anything accomplished outside a scheduled doctor visit is impossible. Don't leave a message, because it will never be followed up on. Even when you do talk directly to a person, follow-up doesn't happen. Been waiting on a prescription for two weeks now, after the nurse "manager" (ever changing) had me running in circles with my insurance saying it needed a PA. WRONG!!!! Still waiting. Even after I was told last week it was ordered and would be in the next day. But getting the one refilled that I didn't ask for or need, ....that Ill get. The support staff can't communicate or follow-up with each other much less a patient. The pharmacy has been a mess for months. Throw a dart, you'll have better success.
