Affordable Animal Hospital of Orange

I recently visited the Affordable Animal Hospital of Orange to treat a wound on my dog's leg. Having just moved to this unfamiliar neighborhood, I was a bit anxious about finding a new vet. However, Dr. Ha was incredibly kind and attentive, treating my dog with genuine care and affection. I am grateful for the compassionate service provided and highly recommend this clinic to fellow pet owners in the area.

Under new ownership November 2025!! Dr. McCarthy has been treating our dog and two cats for nearly 5 years, she is amazing and truly loves animals. She puts the care of the animals first and explains everything that she recommends so we know they are getting what they need and if anything can wait either due to financial reasons or to not do too much at once for the pet she is very transparent with all that information as well. Dr. McCarthy saved my cat's life after he received what should have been a death sentence. She helped me with every step of his care and checked in on him often and I'm happy to say he's been healthy and happy for 4 years since he was declared cured. The staff are wonderful & Dr Ha is very knowledgeable. Chad gathered all the numbers & explained to me what each cost was for & helped me decide to go with my dog’s surgery. I knew Bella was in good hands!!

I had spent a week or two looking for a surgeon who would give my doggy her luxating patella surgery without breaking the bank. Everywhere I would call would give me a quote of $3000-$7000 PER LEG. I was starting to freak out until I called AAH of Orange who asked me to send over my doggy's x-rays. After consulting with the surgeon, I was given a quote of around $3000 for BOTH LEGS. Of course I said yes right away. I set up an appointment for an exam before the surgery but ended up waiting an hour to be seen. The exam took far longer than I anticipated so I had to use the restroom but I had to go to the Target nearby because this hospital wouldn't let me use their facilities. I called again to see when I could pick up my dog (was put on hold again) and was able to pick her up at that mome

Phone number does not work hangs up automatically. Who runs a hospital where everyone goes to lunch at the same time? There should always be someone available for emergencies. Not very professional.
