AFC Urgent Care Stamford

I was delightfully surprised during my visit to AFC. It was nothing like the stories I've heard about urgent care. Although I wasn't the only patient, there was almost no wait time. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. And my extremely-engaging doctor resolved my issue in a few short minutes. Thanks to all at AFC!!! You will definitely become my go-to for much of my medical care.

Great experience at AFC! The girls at the front desk were outstanding! One of the girls Melissa remembered my daughter from last year. She was very personable and caring. Highly recommend this urgent care. Fast and efficient patient care.

This is the first time that I have ever publicly reviewed anything. I recently lost my primary care doctor due to retirement and my nurse friend recommended AFC. I highly recommend Dr David Lauren with ZERO reservations. It was refreshing to not feel like the exam was on a strict timetable. I’m in the throes of a respiratory virus that I can’t seem to shake, Dr Lauren patiently listened to this singer’s overwrought and highly detailed symptoms. When leaving, I remarked to the staff that their doc was remarkable and they all unanimously agreed!

I went to this urgent care after the blizzard as I have been struggling with my asthma & was having troubles breathing with a tight chest, a nasty cough & shortness of breath. I was seen by a man, he never said his name. He was older. He listened to my chest/lungs for maybe 30 seconds & said I sounded fine when you could physically hear me wheezing when I inhaled & exhaled. He asked if I had a nebulizer & I said yes, I’ve been taking it every 6 hours as needed. He said alright, so it wouldn’t do you any good if you took one here, you already have the medicine and machine at home. He asked if I usually get prednisone when I feel like this I said it depends on the doctor I guess. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Great experience, fast and attentive. Melissa at the front desk was amazing and very friendly. They made the visit that much better. Roxanna was also very nice and efficient with the service provided.
