AFC Urgent Care Patchogue

Do NOT go here if you have insurance. I visited here and another location earlier this year a total of 3 times. I paid my 50 dollar copay each time and went on my way. Later on the bills came in. I expected my insurance, which I pay 15k a year in premiums on, to cover it. Once I saw the message that my card on file was going to be automatically charged I called them immediately. My issue is that if I were to self pay it would be 125 a visit totalling $375. Since it was billed through my insurance, on top of my hefty premiums I am now expected to pay $150 in copays, plus another $650 dollars towards my deductable? At least let me pay the self pay price. When I spoke to them they said they would escalate it to a supervisor for review but today my card was charged the 650 dollars any

Thought this would be an equal alternative to CityMD and was locally recommended by VA Clinic in Patchouge. Services were helpful in person but they took months to address billing and billed me directly instead of trying to contact me to resolve the issue. Billing staff over the phone were confused and seemed untrained to handle the issue or resolve the problem even when given the correct information. It seems financially risky to receive care here when you can expect to wait months for an erronus bill to even begin disputing.

I passes th we re the other day they were open. I don't know why this says it's temporarily closed. But I did receive a text and email saying I owes $45.00 and I know I don't because my insurance pays in full and I haven't any co pays. Something is fishy about them I noticed they don't do x-rays or blood work they do write scripts and referrals. I didn't find it a bad place close to my home. I tried to call them to discuss my bill and my insurance company said they didn't see any bills from them. So something is fishy about that.

Clean, fast spot with kind people. Have been twice this season, and got the medicine I needed for strep and a poison ivy rash. Parking is easy. Couldn’t ask for more!

I took my niece to this urgent care this evening, and we had a great experience from start to finish. The front desk staff was welcoming, the medical assistant was kind and efficient , and the physician assistant, Ashley, was outstanding. She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. It was clear she knew what she was talking about and took the time to make sure we were well cared for. The entire team made what could have been a stressful visit much easier. I highly recommend this urgent care for their excellent service!
