AFC Urgent Care Bound Brook

Had a great experience. The wait was not long. The atmosphere pleasant. The staff polite, patient and caring. They answered your concerns and explained the aspect of what they were there for and what they were going to do. The doctor was superb. She explain to me what was going on with my body and prescribed the appropriate medication to help me get back to being a new and better me. Highly recommend when you can't make it to your own primary pcp.

I was seen quickly everythought there are many people waiting. The staff were sweet and helpful. I was treated well by the doctor. The condition improved right after I was given a shot. But two days later the systems have returned. I called to speak with the doctor about this issue. I was told I would need to come in to talk. I didn't like that. Nick Cringoli

Terrible Service and Unacceptable Policies. This location of AFC Urgent Care in Bound Brook has the worst service, culture, and policies I have ever experienced. I came in and clearly stated that I would use my personal insurance. However, they refused to help me and insisted on unnecessary bureaucratic forms, unlike other AFC locations in different towns and counties. This is unacceptable. The staff, management, especially at the front desk, were rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. This review reflects my experience in July 2025. I do not recommend this location to anyone!!!

Place is fine, seemed efficient. I’m having trouble with the medications prescribed to me by the nurse practitioner. (Note - physician is there only on Wednesdays, other days you get a NP or PA). I went with a cold, runny nose, and cough, which had lasted 4 days, and had a fever of 101.5 (per their thermometer, I did not feel feverish in the least, nor did I look it). Anyway, prescription was for CEFDINIR 300 mg (antibiotic) for 7 days, Benzonatate 100 mg (for cough. I asked why not Robitussin or DayQuil/NyQuil but she couldn’t provide a reason), Desloratadine 5mg (for seasonal allergies, which I have never had in my life and which I wasn’t even asked about), and Fluticasone Propionate (Nasal spray, which is a corticosteroid). This is my first choice when needing care fast! The entire place is beautiful and clean; the staff are all so very nice; and the doctor actually remembered me from 3 years ago. They are thorough and very knowledgable. I could not have asked for better care. Thank you AFC!!!
