What an amazing experience at the pediatric er! The nurses the doctors all the staff from the second we walk in was so attentive! They took my daughter’s diagnosis serious and got us admitted. I’m always nervous about judgement with her vaccination status but everyone made it clear they are here to help and support our decisions with our daughter. I wish I could remember every staff member’s name so that I could give credit. They are all absolutely amazing! This is our number one choice for our daughter when in need for emergency services. Thank you!

Unprofessional ER Experience with Nursing Supervisor Rita Brought my 85-year-old mother to the ER on February 3, 2026, for severe abdominal pain from constipation (induced by heavy painkillers) and back pain from longstanding scoliosis. While the medical diagnosis was handled adequately, the nursing care was a disaster. Two separate staff members initially assured us a vacuum/suction machine could assist with both urination and stool movement under bed rest orders. When my mother—in extreme discomfort and distress—couldn’t use the bedpan effectively, they backtracked, insisting only a bedpan was allowed, without addressing her urgency or pain. When I questioned the inconsistency, Nursing Supervisor Rita escalated by calling four security guards on me, demanding I delete a recording or le

Dr Anna Smith. She literally walked away from me while asking a question.... she said "it's to bad you didn't understand the first time I told you" then walked away. She is rude and I wasn't the only one in the ER complaining about Dr Anna Smith. If you go to the children ER, I hope you don't get her.

I had to take my son in for emergency care, and everyone we had contact with was just great. The check-in went smooth and was able to see a doctor in a short time. I was impressed on how nice the place looked and how many people Advocate had staffed to care for patients.I must say that Advocate hired caring people to help you out in a time of need.I am glad I have a hospital like Advocate Luteran General with state of the art equiptment for our needs. Thank you for your services, but I hope we dont have to visit you anytime soon.

If I could I give this hospital 0 stars I would. We came to ER at 12pm and we’re waiting until 6:00pm and didn't even see My kid!! nurse came once , took vitals and left and the next 2 hours , she didn’t even show up to check on us. Neglect! X-ray department was rude and came after 4 hours to get my kid. The worst ER experience ever!
