Advocare Beyond Pediatrics

Dr. Harmady is wonderful! Knowledgeable, kind, takes her time. She helped us a lot when my child had the flu last season, I spoke to her numerous times after hours and she was thorough and patient and even quickly called in a prescription 10 minutes before the pharmacy was closing so my husband could quickly get it! We also love Jackie! She is kind and our youngest responds to her demeanor much better! Personally, we didn’t have a great experience with the other doctor or nurse practitioner. However, we still like the practice. The front desk staff is also great at getting you in. I think this practice is a hidden gem for someone who is looking for a more old-school approach to pediatrics, where you don’t feel like you are rushed and rushed out

I was with Dr. Rita for over 16 years. My son has been see twice by Dr. Harmady who took over the practice after Dr. Rita retired and both times I had a horrible experience. Today after an attempt of her cleaning his ears , she only accomplished to make him bleed. I ended up taking him to an ENT. Very sad to change practice after taking my kids there all their life.

Bad review- they barely looked at my 1y/o babies rash saying it was fine and nothing to worry about. 36 hours later it has spread to her entire face and upon seeing another doctor they immediately said it’s clearly impetigo. She now has to take topical and oral antibiotics, if it was caught sooner it could have just been topical. We called them this morning and they didn’t care at all / asked us what they were supposed to do, didn’t suggest they see her again. We cannot recommend this below standard care.

Dr. Harmady has been the doctor we turn to for expertise with all 3 of our kids for the last 11 years. She has accurately diagnosed a rare autoimmune disorder, she is kind and compassionate, calls on weekends to confirm blood work and check up on you. The front staff is always helpful and friendly. And I have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes for a scheduled appointment. She has filled out whatever paperwork I needed and asked for without hesitation. As a new mom, she eased all my fears and anxieties and now as an experienced mom, she confirms what I already know. So glad she gets to see my children grow up with her practice.

Dr. Harmady office is amazing! Staff is very professional and always accommodating! You are able to schedule sick visits same day and be seen in a short amount of time no need to wait! Along with a very informational conversation about whatever needs or questions you may have for your child.
