If I could leave no stars I would! Here is the email I sent to ch 10 news! Please don't put your love one in this place they would be better off in a homeless shelter! Hello my name is Tracy Granados my dad is a resident at Orchard view Manor his name is Gary Ethier and is on the C unit. He has been there about 6 months and in the 6 months he has been there they have only had one working elevator and today the only working elevator was out too! The fire Marshal and health department was there today and will be back out tomorrow. Most of the staff is terrible and don't care about the patients my dad could ask for a cup of hot water and has to wait an hour or never gets it. They run out of food and milk in the kitchen ECT so I literally send my dad food and coffee and other things thru Amaz

Worst nursing home I am ever had a relative at. Not cleaning patients properly, or moving patients preventing bed sores. Multiple patients soaked in their own urine and feces. I don't condone sending anybody here and should be shut down.

Sorry for the long review however, we had a terrible experience here with my dad. I probably wouldn't be writing this review if it they would have returned one of my multiple messages that I left. My dad has dementia with recent aggressive tendencies emerging, so proper administration of his meds is crucial for his and everyone else's safety. My dad has a propensity to cheek/spit out his meds. Upon meeting the med tech for my first visit there, she asked me what to do about this. I mentioned putting the pills in pudding or applesauce, but still keep an eye on him and check his mouth before walking away. Well needless to say, while visiting him over the course of 6 weeks, at least 4 times I found pills in his drawers, under his pillow, and in his shorts pockets. Each time I brought th

My mom is a resident and has been treated so horribly! A COPD patient in a room that is 90 plus degrees, complaining she cannot breath. When family members brought this to the staffs attention we were assured that she would be moved on Monday. It is now Tuesday and she was admitted to the emergency room and when picked up by EMS, the staff acted completely clueless to the request of moving her room! She sits in her feces for hours, a non functioning phone and call bell. This is completely unacceptable! If she had been moved when we were told she would be, we are certain she wouldn't be in the emergency room as we speak. This nursing home needs to be shut down, patient care is not a priority for this nursing home. My family member had fallen not once but twice and I was NEVER notified of this incident, I was informed by another patients family member. I approached nursing staff and they stated in their records that I was called and spoken too, I was lied to my face by a professional who we all trust would have our loved ones best interest at heart. This was not acceptable to my standards so I took the next step, I reached out to their so called "Upper Management" ....guess what no luck... Also their patients on the dementia unit are treated like animals with no sort of activity to stimulate their minds... the level of care is poor.
