This place needs to be investigated unless I'm naive and our daughter's experience was 'normal'. Nevertheless, she's never going back. Ever. So yeah, our 20 yr old daughter recently voluntarily spent time there. Her experience was so horrible she cried with relief when we finally got her out of there. They threatened some including her there that they would not give them food if they didn't take the medicine they want to make them take, and even forced them to, and withheld food even when they did as a form of punisahment. The showers are ice cold; not even an option for warm water, which 'foolproof' plumbing could easily be done if they even cared to. Some patients are so drugged up they are literally like zombies. Staff told our daughter she didn't have to believe in God. Yep, they did t

It was so boring there the gym didn't have that much stuff unlike a regular gym and the stuff were abusive against other patients and the food was mid. Also it felt repetitive because everyone had to participate in group and shower every morning and it was ok, the water pressure was awful and the only good thing about this place was that I made a lot of friends and you can call at certain times and you can visit between 4:15 and 5:15 which is cool but other than that this facility is not recommended for anyone with mental health problems

I came here for help. When I first got here, I used the restroom and I saw bloody smiley faces on the wall. It was real blood. there is only one shower in the whole adolescent building. so you share a single shower with everyone there, boys and girls. (it was also freezing.) The toothbrushes made every child in there bleed, mind you we all brushed our teeth in the day room together. I was treated like a literal prisoner. I was not allowed to call my parents. They refused my rights. if I could call the max was five minutes, A DAY. The staff would talk all night and kept the bright hallway light on, all night. The beds felt like cardboard (I wasn’t expecting anything nice but I have been 51/50d Before and had never experienced anything like this) I got food poisoning from an undercooked bur

Our son has been in and out of mental health and recovery facilities for the last year. His most recent transfer from the hospital to Adventist Health had us concerned after we read the reviews. Our experience and his experience was completely different than the reviews had led us to expect. He was at the facility for just over 9 days. Each visit the staff treated us very professionally and respectfully. Our son said this was the only facility he had visited that he felt the staff truly cares about the patients. His only complaint was the food but he can be pretty picky. The staff always exhibited a positive and helpful attitude. The lobby and facilities were aged but clean. We really appreciate the courtesy the staff extended to us and our son while we visited Adventist Mental Health. It

staff is whatever, not a fan of robin and cam. kinda weird you can't wear anything showing shoulders. the people are the most interesting and engaging part about this place. and theres mold forming in the dorm shower. the food is pretty bad and they question you when you don't eat the rubbery breaded chicken. and you can't wear any kind of bra. and we can only watch disney plus all day. the other people allowed me to have fun and not be miserable but everything else is mediocre.
