Adventist Health Mendocino Coast

My first visit with Dr. Goel. He is very open, thoughtful and responsive. He listens, evaluates and explains. He prepared himself with my file and knew the things to talk about. We went through my recent lab work and he spotted a few things that were of concern and had not been addressed in the past. He ordered additional lab tests and scheduled a follow up visit after explaining the possible options depending on the results. I was very happy with the appointment and look forward to a continuing relationship. WELCOME ABOARD!

Jana, in radiology, was very helpful and detailed oriented. The x-ray tech (I did not get his name) was efficient and friendly. The whole experience took about 15 mins from start to finish which is a huge plus, plus for me!

The only nitpick I have is the communication between Adventist Health Mendocino Coast and Mendocino Coast Clinics. For some reason, the referral for my blood work never made it to Adventist Health. If I didn't have a referral from a third doctor on hand, my blood work wouldn't have happened. Personally, I think it is probably the Clinic having the issue, but I can't say for sure. Everything else was great, it all happened quickly, I think I was only there for 30 minutes in total without having an appointment or anything like that. Even picking up the results only took a few minutes, even though the entire main parking lot was full and I had to park pretty far away. The walking from car to the door took longer than actually getting the paperwork.

I fell and broke my nose while camping. I went to the Emergency Department to be checked out. Despite how busy and crowded it was the staff was professional, calm and caring with everyone. They worked as a team from the clerk, security guard, medical assistant, transporter, CT tech, nurses and MD. I had a front row seat as I was a hallway patient- no room in the inn. Since I was fully dressed and didn’t need any invasive procedures I was the perfect candidate for waiting in the hall way for my CT results. Thanks to everyone for the great care.

Very busy in the lab early AM for fasting patients, but staff was very quick & helpful. Jim was my phlebotomy & he was great. LOVE the coffee!!
