My doctor prescribed pool therapy because I have hEDS bevause its safe for my joints and ligaments. But, the PT therapist who interviewed me here said maybe only a few sessions of pool therapy and no more. He tried to constantly push me when doing land therapy which is the one thing you cannot do with hEDS patients. When following their instructions it becomes a “boom and bust” cycle and Im injured for weeks and cannot continue therapy. And yet, they kept charging Medicare when they know nothing about how to treat hEDS. I should have been allowed the pool or they should have said they dont have experience with hEDS.

This Hospital is not safe, they do-not c answer the nurse buzzer each time My sister calls it takes over 2 hours before They answer, she has a rare medical Issue, the case worker, and head nurse were present when she had her MRI today thinking she was not coherent the case worker stating my sister was faking her illness, and basically that she would remain in the basement. Also the health department rep was able to witness the staff ignoring the buzzer today, yes that’s who it was she spoke stopped a nurse passing by. Stating she was coming in when she was-not she stopped her. The staff never speaks English all Speak native language. The patient in the same room is the same nationality and they answer her buzzer, but the son took the mother to walk in the hallway stating she was getting we

During COVID restrictions, they aren't joking when they stated balcony visits which are conversations that must be yelled from below while the patient is on the 2nd floor balcony. No permit needed for parking. Any items for patient must be brought in by nurse. Laundry is not provided by facility. No restrooms nearby only in main hospital around the corner. Nurses and administrator are very nice and helpful

I spent 4 weeks here. The program includes approximately 3 hours of PT/OT daily with outstanding therapists, excellent nursing in an encouraging and happy environment.
